1964 Goodwood TT Ferrari 250 GTO

One of several Ferrari 250 GTO’s entered for the 1964 Tourist Trophy at Goodwood.  Entered for Ritchie Ginther to drive he finished 9th. The car was painted white with a crimson nose band.  This is chassis 3729. Note that it is right hand drive. It’s first owner was John Coombes and it raced in three successive Tourist Trophy races, finishing 2nd in 1962 (Graham Hill) and 2nd again in 1963 this time with Mike Parkes. Jack Sears was a later owner of the car when it was road registered as EUP 977B.
